We are currently seeking a (CPN) Mental Health Practitioner with experience in Community Mental Health Team ready for a new professional challenge.

Here are some key details about the position:

- Job Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse / Mental Health Practitioner
- Band: 6
- Location:Ellis centre, Dean Road. Scarborough, YO12 7SN
- Department: Scarborough CMHT- Community Nursing Team
- Duration: Ongoing, 3 months initially
- Hours: Full time 9am - 5pm Monday
- Friday on site only
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Rate of pay: £25+ per hour

A day in the life of a CPN:
As a mental health nurse specializing in the community, you will play a crucial role in providing care to older adult patients by:

- Conducting visits to patients to ensure their needs are met.
- Administering medication at scheduled times to address patients' needs.
- Engaging with patients, understanding their conditions, and providing efficient assistance while monitoring potential improvements or setbacks.
- Performing necessary risk assessments to ensure patient safety and maintaining a secure treatment environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Active registration with the NMC as a mental health nurse
- Proven minimum 1 year of experience in a community setting
- Enhanced DBS on the update Service
- Right to work (No Sponsorships Provided)
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Dedication to delivering the highest quality of care to patients
