Walker Timber are part of the Miller Homes Group who are currently providing timber component to developments both Miller and other national builder in Central Scotland and the North East of England.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Admin Clerk to join our team. The Administration Clerk will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Transportation Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of transportation and warehouse activities. The Administration Clerk will play a key role in maintaining accurate records and facilitating efficient transportation operations.

- Assist with scheduling and coordinating transportation activities
- Maintain accurate records of transportation transactions, including receipts, invoices, and delivery documents
- Communicate with drivers and other transportation personnel to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Perform data entry tasks to update transportation databases and spreadsheets
- Prepare reports on transportation activities, including fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery times
- Assist in resolving any transportation-related issues or discrepancies
- Experience in an administrative or clerical role preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
