Repairs Surveyor

A well-established client is looking for an experienced Repairs Surveyor to join their team on a temporary basis.

You will be dealing with reactive property matters including complex repairs, alteration requests, adaptations

Job Role: Repairs Surveyor

Pay: £17.02 an hour PAYE or £21.06 via UMBRELLA

Hours: Monday to Friday 830am - 5pm

Location: Berkshire

**Requirements**:

- Evidence that understand current safety-related regulations and legislation
- Experience of dealing with repairs and property defects in housing
- Experience of managing repairs contractors
- Experience of a range of pricing methods including Schedules of Rates, quotes and tenders
- Good technical understanding and awareness of building fabric/structures and common repair problems.
- Good understanding of current market costs for different types of repair work
- Ability to evaluate, research and solve complex issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels - verbally and in writing
- Ability to self-prioritize a varied workload, and be administratively self-sufficient using current software

Full UK Driving License & Own Vehicle

Due to the nature of the role a DBS check is required.
