Flow Cytometrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Flow Cytometrist to join our state of the art flow cytometry facility, run as a joint venture between the LMS and Imperial College London

You will provide professional, technical and administrative support to the Imperial BRC/LMS Flow Cytometry Facility including direct responsibility for the day-to-day running and maintenance of complex equipment to ensure a comprehensive, high-quality service to users.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Have day-to-day responsibility for the operation of the flow cytometry instrumentation
- Provide up-to-date technical expertise, advice and support to a very high standard in flow cytometry techniques and data analysis to facility users. This includes provision of a high-quality cell sorting service.
- Provide training in data acquisition and analysis, including developing and delivering courses for new and expert users.
- Assist the management of the Flow Cytometry Facility, including upkeep and maintenance of flow cytometry machines.
- Ensure that the technical support provided is regularly reviewed in terms of user satisfaction and contribute to the future planning and development of the facility.
