To assist the community engagement team with admin tasks

To support the community engagement team engage with Syrian refugees
- Assist with the printing of promotional materials for Community Engagement events.
- Help the Community Engagement team support refugees to continue to feel engaged and involved in their communities by attending the events with a team member and working with the team & third sector organisations to understand the cultural competencies within the community as well as relating to the refugees that will help to maintain their self-esteem.
- Support the team to create and facilitate opportunities for participation in community engaging activities by handing out posters and sign-posting refugees to events that are available within their community.
- Assisting Syrian refugees with little or no English to engage with activities in a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Contribute to identifying and making use of opportunities for sharing best practice and learning within the Syrian community.
- Provide support to assist refugees at wellbeing events.
- Help the team to keep information display areas and waiting areas stocked & tidy at community engagement events.
- Meet people at community engagement events and provide a welcome
- Supporting team to create and maintain effective relationships with the refugees & third sector organisations.
- Joining in Team discussions and training as required
- Greeting visitors to the Team
- Support the team in organising and promoting activities.
- Attending events with the team and undertaking tasks in a supportive capacity.
