The Adult Disability Service provide support to adults with a learning or physical disability. We promote personalisation through our assessment process focusing on the wellbeing of the individual. Through care planning we strive for increased independence,choice and control by offering personal budgets to enable people to direct their own support.

We are looking to recruit an experienced member of staff to provide professional support to the Senior Management team of the service. This role will also lead on the Safety Improvement Process for the countywide Adult Disability Service.

For this role you will be a motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual who can deliver high level administrative support around:

- Research and compiling reports
- Meeting preparation and creating agendas
- Minute taking
- Creating complex files
- Assisting in presentations
- Supporting in the creation and drafting of letters regarding ill health and capability hearings

You will support with the Safety Improvement Process to ensure the service meets its duties and obligations to people who use our services. This high level role will assist managers in co-ordinating and responding to the demands for timely intervention,research and audits to ensure a quality service and continuous improvements:

- Arranging meetings with providers
- Taking and producing high quality minutes
- Research, monitor and collate activity and statistics by quantity and quality for the Safety Improvement Process
- Support managers with co-ordinating review activity and identification of themes
- Support managers to organise debrief and learning workshops, as appropriate, for professionals involved

For this role we require someone who has:

- Clear, confident and effective communication skills
- The ability to produce information and reports to a high standard
- The ability to influence and gain the trust and confident of managers and staff to bring around change
- Experience in coordinating high level meetings, producing minutes and reports
- Experience in providing PA support to senior management team

We are based in Stevenage however we encourage smart working with the benefit of a laptop and smart phone. You would be required to be office based 40% of the week and you have the option of working at home or at one of our touchdowns across the area.
