If you have an eye for detail and data, we have an exciting opportunity to join the PMO as a Stock Condition Surveyor.

**Main job responsibilities**:

- Carrying out detailed stock condition surveys of our properties ensuring data collected is accurate and input into appropriate databases and systems. The use of mobile working technology is integral to the work.
- To assist in preparing project and programme briefs and documents to describe projects at RIBA work stage 0 and 1
- Assist in project inception and formulating programmes with site inspections, reporting findings and offering opinions regarding the type of improvement or disinvestment programmes for our different areas and types of properties
- To carry out hazard assessments under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and ensure appropriate actions are taken
- To identify potential damp and disrepair issues, environmental health problems, structural issues and boundary disputes at whg properties.

**We're looking for someone who has**:

- A building related qualification at HNC level or above, or willingness to work towards.
- Experience of dealing with construction contracts
- Knowledge of domestic property types, types of construction and defects / failure issues
- Detailed knowledge of building technology and current regulations.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
- Detailed knowledge of property inspection procedures, evidence recording and presentation.
