**CCTV Operative - London Borough of Havering**

**3 - 6+ Month Ongoing Contract**

**Working arrangements**:

- Office based, Work a 24 hour, 7 day a week shift pattern.

**Essentials**:

- Being able to use the technical CCTV equipment and associated computers are vital.
- Vetting to NPPV/1 or equivalent (to be discussed).
- Experience of working effectively under pressure
- Experience of working in a CCTV environment.
- Experience of working with partner agencies.
- Using various communication methods.

**Job Role**:

- A positive and helpful attitude and be able to work in a busy control room where the night time activity can escalate rapidly. CCTV Operators will have to be assertive and be able to guide emergency services in to incidents.
- Being able to communicate via the phone, Town Centre radio and Police radio, in a prompt, clear and professional manner are key to a number of stakeholders including members of the public.
- Work at any of the Council's CCTV monitoring centers
