**LOCATION - Wales**
**SALARY - £26,000 - £28,000**

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**

Including but not limited to the following:

- Ensure tidiness and appropriate segregation of all materials.
- Stores Racking - ensure annual inspection and maintenance is carried out.
- Security - control access to secure stores area to approved personnel.
- Record and issue materials to operatives.
- Purchase materials from suppliers ensuring that stock levels are kept to an optimum level sufficient for the works.
- Receive and check delivery of goods against delivery notes and purchase orders, updating ERP system.
- Collect materials from suppliers and deliver to site as required.
- Use ERP system to raise purchase orders in line with procedures and always have PO prior to purchasing goods.
- Maintain Stock level, Issue and monitor PPE including items that are date stamped and require re-calibration or replacement.
- Ensure any new plant purchased is entered on Q-Pulse and appropriate paperwork is issued to the operative who is to receive the item.
- Arrange for the calibration of electrical instruments when they are due, upon return update Q-Pulse.
- Highlight any plant defects or issues to Project Manager.
- Plant repairs.
- Plant hire.
- Plant Pat Testing.
- Inspect and tag access equipment (Ladders, steps, scaffolds etc.)
- Liaise with Project Managers/Supervisors daily to ensure availability of Material and Plant for Projects.
- Assist Project Managers/Supervisors where required.
- Ensure that all vehicles are compliant with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Where necessary escalating any identified issues and recommending resolutions to the Management Team.
- Be proactive, planned and structured approach to the maintenance of vehicles, keeping within the designated budget and ensuring all vehicles used are fit for purpose and are of a high standard.
- To support operations take the lead in resolving unforeseen problems as they arise ensuring appropriate resolution of these and to utilize the learning to plan for future similar scenarios and leading the way in terms of best practice.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience of stock and material control.
- Ability to work on own initiative and act independently whilst being able to work successfully as part of a team.
- Able to work to deadlines.
- Full driving license.
- Counterbalance forklift license.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
