Housekeeper/cleaner

Overview:
We are currently seeking a Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our busy team in our family run short stay accommodation business based in Hereford city centre.

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various areas of our facility. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently. If you have experience in the hotel or hospitality industry, we encourage you to apply.

**Duties**:

- Strip beds & re-make
- Clean and sanitise designated areas
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Empty bins and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, hand wash
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred by not essential as training can be given
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed

Our busiest days are Mondays, Fridays & Sundays between 10am & 3pm, therefore we are looking for someone who is able to offer availability on these days.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
