Software Test Engineer - Stockport - £30,000-35,000 + Great Benefits
A Software Test Engineer is needed to join one of the UK's most successful software development businesses. They are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing across both Manual and Automation, who has done some API testing with toolssuch as Postman, SoapUI, REST-assured or ReadyAPI.
You will have a varied role, with the opportunity to work on different client projects with customers in the UK and US.
Role responsibilities:

- Participate in the development of test specifications.
- Conduct critical reviews of functional requirements
- Ensure that software requirements are well-understood and acceptance criteria is defined.
- Create appropriate documentation and share information within the team.
- Ensure that tests are being continuously reviewed
- Support in the resolution of bugs in software.
- Ensure agreed processes for software testing and development are being followed.

What you will need:

- Minimum of 2 years' commercial experience as a Software Tester.
- The role will involve a mixture of manual and automation testing, so any experience with both is essential.
- Highly competent in the use and testing of SOAP/RESTful APIs.
- Previous experience software testing in an Agile environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be dealing with customers and stakeholders daily.
