**Salary: £26,000 + Overtime + Progression**
**Overview**:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor on behalf of one of our clients.
Based in the London region. A key member of the team, working closely with and reporting into the Operations Manager. Responsible for the effective distribution of goods and administration of logistics inventory.The customers supported are 24/7 operatorsand maintaining stock levels to minimise stock outs and downtime is extremely important.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring all stock checks & replenishment appointments are complete on time. Stock orders are picked and ready for despatch. Inventory levels are maintained and organised to support this activity.
- Aiming to achieve efficient distribution and utilising company vehicles. Ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and signing off key customer deliveries where necessary.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and enhance operational efficiency
- Demonstrate leadership qualities day to day, engaging positively with colleagues and customers.
- Collection of stock orders from a central meeting point.
- Delivering of customer stock orders.
- Identifying low/nil stocks on customer System.
- Following the rota-based delivery schedule.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Excellent communications & Leadership skills.
- Organisation, individual initiative, flexibility, and time management.
- Competent using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
- Experience with stock & accounting software such as SAP or SAGE favourable.
- Computer literate and can solve basic IT issues.
- GCSE’s Grade A*-C Maths & English.
- Further education favourable (A-Level, NVQ, Higher Education).
