Community Support Worker

**Do you want to be part of a passionate team dedicated to making a difference to older people in your community?**
**Due to a significant spike in demand for our services, we currently require a caring and motivated person who wishes to make positive changes to the lives of older people in the local community. As a Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in enabling older people to remain independent whilst joining our fabulous CommuniTea Team**
Key Responsibilities:
- **Collaborate with the CommuniTea team to promote independent living by assisting clients with cleaning, meal preparation, gardening and transport services. Assist in planning and coordinating events and activities to support clients in the local community.**
Teamwork and Communication:
**Collaborate effectively with colleagues, volunteers, and external stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery. Attend team meetings, contributing ideas and insights to improve programs and services.**
Qualifications and Skills:
**Previous experience in a similar support role or working within a charity is desirable.**
**A compassionate and patient approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.**
**Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility.**
**Good organizational skills and attention to detail.**
**Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite.**
**An understanding of confidentiality and the importance of safeguarding vulnerable individuals.**
**MUST have a valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle is essential**
