Counter Staff

### Job Overview:
We are seeking friendly and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Counter Staff. As a Counter Staff member, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

## Duties:

- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, and beverages
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area and dining space
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed
- Upsell additional menu items or promotions to customers
- Provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries about menu options
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to customers
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene standards

## Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

**Salary**: £7.49-£11.31 per hour
