**Title **Finance Assistant

Job Purpose
- The accurate and efficient administration of accounts payable & receivable activities, including the preparation of orders, processing of invoices and creation of sales invoices.
- To support the School Business Leaders in resolving queries and issues relating to the purchase ledger.
- To provide ad hoc support to the Finance Officer.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounts Payable**

To undertake the following;
- Process Purchase Orders for school services as requested by the School Business Leaders
- Process staff expense claim forms for all schools
- Process purchase invoices for all locations; either by using the online processing portal for purchase ordered invoices or direct to accounting for non-order invoices
- Process purchasing card payments for all schools
- Ensure that the original documents are attached to the document within the accounting system so that they can be reviewed appropriately
- Follow up with school staff, as appropriate, if purchase orders have not been raised or goods receipted
- Ensure non-order invoices are appropriately authorised by staff in accordance with the Finance Manual o Work with schools and the School Business Leaders to resolve supplier queries in a timely fashion.
- **Accounts Receivable**

To undertake the following;
- Raise sales invoices for schools as requested by the relevant School Business Leaders.
- **General**

To undertake the following;
- Work as a positive team player, demonstrating mutual respect and integrity.
- Ensure all deadlines in relation to areas of your role are met.
- Undertake professional duties and responsibilities necessary for the smooth running of the Trust as may be reasonably assigned to you or as directed by the Finance Officer.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: £4,952.00-£5,527.00 per year
