An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced enthusiastic Area Manager to join our growing Commercial Cleaning Company. You would be responsible for approx 30 sites in and around various locations in Croydon, Camberwell, Penge, Bromley, Beckenham and some surrounding areas. You would be required to make regular visits to your sites, which will involve some early mornings and evenings so flexibility with working hours is vital, you must be willing and able to travel between sites and be available to assist you colleagues if required, you will need to be to organised have good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work under your own initiative. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and Head of Operations.

The role requires excellent relationship and decision making skills, the ability to remedy shortfalls, complete audits, attend client meetings, develop and mentor cleaning Supervisors and operatives within your portfolio. You will also need to ensure your sites operate within given budgets and keep all clients fully up to date on all operational and performance areas of contracts.

Knowledge of overseeing the cleaning in schools an advantage.

You will need to own/have use of your own vehicle as the position does not come with a car however does come with a car allowance of £4,400.00 pa per month plus fuel allowance.

Mobile phone, laptop and ipad supplied

This is a permanent full time position with flexible hours mainly Monday - Friday to suite the contracts under your remit.
