**Role**: NOC Manager

**Location**: Spalding, Lincolnshire

**Package**: £55,000 - £65,000, Pension, Private Healthcare, Holidays

Hybrid working model (3 days in the office per week)

Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm

**The Opportunity**

This opportunity will see you joining a thriving and leading wireless internet service provider to help enhance their Network Operations service.

The team is looking to expand and an opportunity such as this will allow you to come in and manage an exceptional team. Coming into the role will give you a say on how the team operates, with an inclusion and voice on those who join the team in future tofit your expectations.

**The Role**:
This is a NOC environment and much of the support will work towards ensuring every single customer receives a first class service. No two days will be the same, in the world of NOC there are array of variables that can come across your path day by day. Someof the day to day expectations are:

- Develop and manage the NOC as per industry standards ensuring the operation is delivering on the targets set.
- Responsible for line management of the NOC team including performance management, rostering, training and general team management.
- Point of contact for in life network issues and ensuring resolutions are in line with the current business priorities and SLA's.
- Produce statistics and reports on departmental performance aligned to the KPI's set.
- Responsible for root cause analysis on all network outages and ensuring relevant action plans are in place to prevent repeats.

The ideal NOC Manager will have relevant experience in a NOC Manager position with critical environment skills relating to the role. As you are the main person by way of leading the team going forward communication between you and the rest of the team iskey. Experience in setting up a NOC would be a distinct advantage going into the role.

We would be looking for a NOC Manager that can point to the following:

- ITIL foundation would be an advantage
- Networking qualifications (I.E. CCNP)
- A leader who shows commitment and leads by example
- Continuous improvement is a fundamental trait and supports and delivers new processes.
- Experience with IPV6 would be a benefit.
