Quarry Operative

**Description**:
We are currently seeking a Quarry Operative to join our team at Moota, Cumbria.

As our next Quarry Operative, you’ll be responsible for the daily inspections, maintenance and housekeeping of the quarry and mobile plant associated with your role, whilst maintaining high standards in all aspects of Health & Safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Your responsibilities will include the operation of mobile plant, fixed plant and general plant maintenance, ensuring this is done in accordance with our safety, environmental and quality procedures.
- You will be self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
- You will also have a willingness to learn and be a good communicator.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Experience of working within a quarry would be an advantage as would a positive record and attitude towards health and safety, however training will be provided.
- You should be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and be able to remain calm under pressure.
- Tickets for heavy plant would be preferred but training can be given.
