Our Neighbourhood Officers are at the heart of what we do as an organisation. We have a great opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our Localities team providing a comprehensive housing management service, working with communities and neighbourhoods in the Leicestershire and Rutland area.

You will be someone who takes a hands-on approach, helping customers to manage their tenancies and improve our neighbourhoods for everyone. Most of your time you will be out and about in your patch, working closely with customers to promote sustainable tenancies, and developing strong relationships with local communities.

**What could you be doing as one of our Neighbourhood Officers**:

- Visiting customers providing advice, reviewing tenancies and identifying any problems.
- Regularly inspecting our estates, raising, reporting and monitoring to a successful conclusion any Health and Safety concerns.
- Playing a key role in developing strong relationships within local communities, working collaboratively with other agencies and Platform colleagues.
- Managing and investigating tenancy issues such as anti-social behaviour, condition of property, fly tipping.
- Undertaking new tenancy sign-ups and accompanied viewings for new homes.

**Some things we need from you**:

- A commitment and passion for social housing.
- Experience of working closely with customers to tackle complex issues.
- Experience of working with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Proactive in your approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organised and can prioritise your time as needed to meet timeframes.
- Customer focused and understand the importance of delivering a high standard of service.

**This role involves regular travel throughout the Leicestershire and Rutland area.** **A driving licence and use of your own vehicle or alternative means of getting to the required locations is essential.**

**This role will require a basic DBS check.**
