Our Safety and Security Advisors are responsible for just that, the safety and security of our customers and properties. Youll spend a lot of your time patrolling Byrom Point property within the city, ensuring that gates are secure, and doors are locked. In the event of an emergency your role is to contact the relevant local authorities and ensure the residents and fellow team members are at the appropriate areas.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**SAFETY, WELFARE & COMPLIANCE**
- Top of your agenda at all times; practice an unrelenting approach to safety and welfare by adherence to any and all safety policies and processes in our organisation.
- Develop an understanding within your respective area for all statutory and legal accountabilities we hold; furthermore, ensure that your colleagues understand why we perform such duties and encourage an environment where safety and welfare is never overlooked.
- Create an environment whereby all team members feel confident and comfortable in raising any concerns about our properties or our practices.
- Support the management team in our Ground Truth audits, recording and evaluating our performance against important health and safety measures.
- Ensure all work undertaken is carried out strictly in accordance with supervisory instruction

**Security**
- = Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.- = Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.- = Controls traffic by directing drivers.- = Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.- = Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.- = Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.- = Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.- = Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.- = In the event of an emergency your role is to contact the relevant local authorities.**Grounds**
- = Spread grit on roadways, footpaths, car parking areas and other external hard surfaces at a suitable period of time to minimise the risk of surface ice or snow coverage- = Attend to any spillages, and other emergency cleaning requirements during working hours- = Take responsibility for assessing additional refuse collection during peak seasons.**Customer Experience**
