Flexographic Printer

Welton Bibby & Baron is the UK's largest manufacturer of bags and has been manufacturing packaging since 1858.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for running and set up of an 8 colour Flexographic Press to set times and speeds
- Previous experience as a flexographic printer is essential, ideally Windmöller & Hölscher and or Ofem machines
- Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, colour accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects
- Monitor stocks of materials such as paper, ink, and accessories in order to maintain supplies during equipment operation.
- Advise maintenance of machine issue/problems
- Working closely with the Operator and Management team to continually improve quality, process and production efficiencies.
- Good degree of dexterity in order to maintain speed
- Print experience

**We are offering**
- 37.5 hours per week
- This role is working on our 3-shift system, with shift rotation being mornings, nights and afternoons.
- Mornings: Monday - Thursday 06.00 - 14.00 Friday 06.00 - 11.30
- Afternoons: Monday - Thursday 14.00 - 22.00 Friday 11.30 - 17.00
- Nights: Monday - Thursday 22.00 - 06.00 Friday 17.00 - 22.30
