We are looking for a Police Constable to work within the Falmouth Docks Police. This role is integral to ensuring the safety and security of our facility.

**Who we are**:
A&P Falmouth is one of the largest ship-repair facilities in the UK, we provide a complete range of marine repair services thanks to our on-site engineering, electrical, paint and fabrication workshops.

**What you will do**:
As a Police Constable you will be responsible for maintaining a level of security in accordance with the ISPS Code.
- You will answer questions from Falmouth Docks tenants, visitors, employees, and the general public.
- You will respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and disturbances, providing assistance and coordinating with emergency services as required.
- You will undertake control and checking of personnel/vehicles at the Main Gate Entrance.
- You will undertake general site security patrols to monitor and maintain the security of Falmouth Docks.
- You will administer First Aid and write/record Accident Reports as appropriate.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience in a security role would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of security operations and safety practices ideally within an industrial or maritime environment.
- A current First Aid at Work certificate would be advantageous however training can be provided as required.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
