Provide effective management relating to all aspects of the charity’s set-up and operations.

Grow, develop and maintain our key relationships with the organisations and individuals that support us.

Work closely alongside our architects, contractors, and trustees to oversee the major renovations of our Grade 11 Listed Building into a community space

Work with other key partners to extend the scope of services that we can offer to the community

Hours: 20 hours per week

**Salary**: £25,500 - £27,000 pro rata

Duration: 3-year contract

Responsible to: Board of Trustees

Office base: Life Dronfield, Dronfield, Derbyshire.

**Scope of the Role**

To provide effective day to day administrative support to our Charity Manager and Board of Trustees in relation to all aspects of the charity.

To grow, develop and maintain our key relationships with the organisations and individuals

who support us.

To work with other key partners to extend the scope of services that we can offer in our

community.

To recruit and oversee our volunteer team.

To further develop and deliver our fundraising strategy.

To clearly demonstrate and promote the positive impact of the charity.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- To perform all administrative duties of the charity, according to the strategic

direction provided by the Board of Trustees.
- Have a key role in the functioning of the charity whilst in post.
- To administer initiatives, events and campaigns, to increase engagement of

children, families, young people and the elderly and ensure we can measure the

impact.
- To be responsible for aspects of staff and volunteer management, including

recruitment and supervision.
- To lead on new and innovating fundraising initiatives.
- To assist our treasurer with the day to day running of the charity.
- To develop and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with the board’s

strategic direction.
- To undertake any other relevant duties within the overall scope of the role, as

requested by Life Dronfield Trustees.

Education/Professional Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent by experience (D)

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Experience of managing staff and volunteers. (E)
- Experience of providing information, advice and guidance services. (D)
- Experience of developing and maintaining partnerships with statutory, voluntary and

private sector organisations. (E)
- Experience of managing and updating a website and a variety of social medias. (E)
- Experience in marketing and communications. (D)
- Track record of leading fundraising initiatives. (D)
