General Laborer

Your role will be working alongside our current team completing building and construction projects in Redcar and the surrounding areas. Our business model mainly focuses on working in properties that require complete refurbishments. We take on older properties that haven't been well maintained and start from scratch which allows us to create stunning new homes for the holiday let, tenant and student market.

We don't work for customers and build all of our own projects which allows you to work on various different sites and work with us contributing your skill sets to help us achieve our aim of bringing unloved buildings back to life.

You will have the knowledge and skills to carry out the following tasks:

- Perform general labor tasks as assigned by site manager
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment and work areas
- Work effectively with other team members on site
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when necessary

**Skills**:

- Physical fitness and ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment operation
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- Punctuality and time management

**Salary**: £11.50-£13.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Redcar and Cleveland, North Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Laboring: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
