Job makeup will be 60% Manufacturing in house, 20% Designing of new ranges and current range improvements, 20% Research and development out of house, in the places using our goods for feedback and product insight. The successful applicant will be expected to train and motivate his team offering new UK work as we expand and offer skilled based trade training from the UK.

**General Role Includes**:
1. Manufacture based on designs provided bespoke custom gloves and sparring equipment for athletes for sales and promotional purposes

2. Manufacture good’s for combat sports promotions and federations to required specifications to be used by members and fighters for sales and promotion purposes.

3. Manufacture goods for boxing gym’s and clubs to specification required for sales and promotion purposes.

4. Improve and research current designs and trends to further develop the current ranges. Listen to Athlete and club feedback to improve end user feedback

5. Repair factory 2nd’s, faulty products from wear and tear, shipping and storing damaged items and lines with manufacturing defects.

**Entry requirements of this job**:
Need to have experience of the manufacturing process of the above. Minimum 2 years experience and preferably worked all sections of the manufacturing process in a factory environment including R and D, Pattern Cutting, Moulding, Sewing, Decorative finishing. This will need to have been manufacturing for a reputable brand who’s products meet UK and EU requirements. Extensive knowledge of the approval system and requirements for CE, PPE and REACH approval is preferred.

**General tasks required by this job include**:
Uses hand tools and machinery to cut patterns trim’s, punch holes and stitch guide lines on leather or leather substitute component parts;
Make moulds for products by hand;
Uses hand and machine tools to stitch materials add padding and glue linings to manufacture equipment;
Use machinery and tools to decorate and position logo’s on equipment:
Uses hand tools or machinery to make up and repair equipment:
Uses hand and machine tools to sew and stitch leather and/or other material in the making and decoration of boxing gloves and leather goods other than garments

Prepares paper or paperboard master patterns of component parts of boxing gloves and other boxing products;
Waxes, cleaning and decretive finishing of products

Research and develop new product lines and improvement to existing ranges using end user feedback from athletes, clubs, promotions and federations. Visits will be required to places outside the factory to facilitate this but travel and expenses will be reimbursed.

Pay GBP 26,500/- annum and other company offered incentives
