**£12 per hour**

**Full time - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm**

**Hybrid working - 3 days in the office / 2 working from home**

**Office location - Paisley**

**6-month contract**

**On site parking available**

Tate are working with a well-established and globally known Aviation Company to recruit a Payroll Team Member to join their shared service centre based in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team that is well respected, where you will be challenged and have the opportunity to grow. This role also offers the possibility of a transfer to a permanent contract.

Main responsibilities:

- Ensuring payroll data is accurate, resulting in a delivery of an accurate payroll first time.
- Administer a range of pay impacting transactions and employee life cycle changes.
- Reconciliation of reports to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Processing of Statutory payments.
- Responding to and managing payroll queries.
- Supporting over payment calculations and implementing recovery plans
- Supporting the wider payroll running process as required.

Key skills and experience
- Previous experience of working in a payroll environment.
- Experience using Oracle would be preferable but not essential.
- Have up to date knowledge of HMRC tax and associated legislation.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Excel (look ups/simple formula).
- Ability to work as part of a team but also manage own workload.
