The business in manufacturing Special Purpose Machinery and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance in their operations and you could be at the foundations of their success.
- Design and manage an Environmental Management System which meets the requirements of ISO 14001.
- Support the ongoing management of the Health and Safety Management System.
- Support in the implementation of HSE strategy.
- Facilitate and conduct internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and H&S legislation.
- Identify and drive business improvements with regards to environment, health and safety.
- Support customers, partners and subsidiaries.
- Support the adoption of industry best practice in all policies, safe working procedures and practices.
- Maintain and analyses site EHS data and provide timely data to key stakeholders including reports.
- Plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental Certificate or equivalent in Environmental Management.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
- Knowledge of environmental and health & safety legislation and best practice implementation.
- Experience of creating, implementing and managing management systems that meet the requirements of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Proficient with IT including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Desirable: Experience with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures.
- Desirable: Delivery of projects deploying Lean Manufacturing, CI or Six Sigma methodologies.
