**About the role**:
We are currently looking for a Lecturer, to teach Refrigeration at the City of Portsmouth College, at our North Harbour. A Lecturer play the largest part in a student's experience in education. As a Lecturer you help your learners thrive and reach their aspirational careers and dreams Are you ready to be part of a rewarding journey to make a difference?

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To teach the college programme to students daily and provide high quality learning opportunities to them
- To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student retention, achievement, and success
- To contribute to the development and delivery of high quality, relevant curriculum, and pro-grammes. Curriculum Development responsibilities include actively contributing to the development of new programmes and producing annual schemes of work
- Plan and deliver effective learning programmes for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment
- Ensure compliance with Quality standards set by the College and/or Awarding Bodies

**To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you**:

- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant area
- Experience of Teaching CACHE Level 2 and level 3.
- Experience of teaching/ training and assessing students with learning difficulties and disabilities at Entry Level in relation to Independent Living and Work Skills
- Ability to meet targets within set timescales
- Ability to work well in teams but also to work independently, with the minimum of supervision
