**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and coordinate logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Preparing and packing all orders for delivery to customer
- Arranging timely delivery of product shipments to customers, including all required documentation for shipping internationally
- Analysing and optimising logístical procedures and data capture to help implement improvements to the process
- Preparing and activating purchase orders for all laboratory and office purchases
- Evaluating suppliers to ensure they are operating effectively
- Liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure reliable supply and suitable pricing
- Receiving and reconciling deliveries into the building and ensuring they meet internal specifications
- Identifying and pursuing sustainability improvements for our packaging
- Maintaining IT systems to track customer orders and purchase orders
- Monitoring delivery status of incoming and outgoing items and resolving any shipment and inventory issues
- Identifying and acquiring suitable alternative items if supply issues are encountered
- Responding to customer queries regarding availability and delivery of products
- Organising and managing inventory levels relevant to the department
- Scheduling and arranging any site visits required in the laboratory and office, such as equipment services and calibrations

**Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- Strong organizational skills, being able to prioritize workloads to ensure measured turnaround times are consistently met
- The ability to effectively plan incoming and outgoing deliveries for all elements of the supply chain, with demonstratable ability to successfully arrange international shipments into and out of the business
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team as well as take initiative to work alone when required
- Data analysis skills
- Ability to plan and negotiate through technical difficulties
- Ability to effectively maintain stock levels

**Desirable**:

- Experience working in a controlled environment, preferably to ISO 13485 standard
- Experience liaising with customers

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
