The Hive, 19 Market Place, Winsford, CW7 3DA.Edsential and The Hive are working in partnership to develop a contemporary music training programme called ‘Future Sounds’ which will:

- Inspire and teach teenagers in all aspects of the contemporary music industry;
- Train professional musicians to successfully deliver education programmes
- Support volunteers to develop their skills as they contribute their time to this youth music programme in the interests of the local community Inspiring and teaching teenage musicians and bands at all stages of learning and development is the heart of our programme.

We aim to work across contemporary music genres, teaching guitar, drums, DJing and electronic music with a strong focus on collaboration and composition. Initially focusing on school years 10 and 11, the ambition is to create a music centre which provides an opportunity for students to experiment across a range of instruments and techniques in small group and workshop settings.

Future Sounds kicks off with a holiday project during the week of 7th July 2023 followed by weekly sessions on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings from September. You do not need to be available for every session.
