**Class 1 (C+E) ADR Tanker Driver**

**Location**: Newport

**Salary**: £16.00 per hour

**Shift**: Full-time, operating on a 5-week shift rota

**Tramping**: Tramping may be involved

**Night Out Allowance**: £26.00 per night out

We are currently seeking a skilled Class 1 (C+E) ADR Tanker Driver to join our client's team on an adhoc basis. This position will primarily involve covering our clients' full-time driver's holidays, ensuring the smooth and timely transportation of hazardous waste.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) ADR Tanker vehicles in accordance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Transport hazardous materials, including Corrosive, Flammable, and Toxic substances, in adherence to ADR regulations.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Tramping duties may be required as part of the role.
- Willingness to undergo drug testing as per company policy.
- Provide your own full ADR Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kit.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license with ADR certification, specifically in Explosives, Flammable, and Toxic categories.
- Previous experience driving ADR Tanker vehicles preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on a 5-week shift rota.
- Must be willing to undertake drug testing as part of the employment process.
