Children and Teens Domestic Abuse Advocate

The pay grade for this post is Juno Scale Point 17 £26,181.00 Full-Time Equivalent. You will receive a pro rata payment in line with your contracted hours of work, which are _**_24 hours per week_**_, of _**_£16,982.27_**_ _**_per annum_**_. _
As a Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA) young people’s specialist, you will work pro-actively with children and teens, who have experienced DVA offering risk assessed, strength based, and needs led support. You will work alongside each child/young person ensuring an age-appropriate response. You will liaise closely with the mother/carer/non-abusive parent and as well as nursery/school and other appropriate agencies, to meet a range of support needs.

Juno Women's Aid is the largest domestic abuse organisation in Nottingham and one of the largest in the UK. We work with women, children, and teens who have been affected by domestic abuse in **Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City, and Rushcliffe.**
We run a wide range of services including the 24-hour Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Freephone Domestic and Sexual Violence Helpline. This is where you can speak to one of our specialist trained female support workers 365 days a year.
