Mobile Handyman

**Job Title**: Mobile Operative

**Location**: Based preferably in southeast London / north Kent area, but all locations considered.

**Salary**: From £28,000 per annum

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

**Overview**: We are seeking an experienced Mobile Operative to deliver general maintenance and handyperson services. The role involves traveling to multiple sites across London and the South East to complete monthly compliance checks and basic maintenance. A full UK driving license is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Compliance Checks**:

- Conduct fire alarm tests, emergency light flick tests, and water temperature checks.
- **Plumbing**:

- Install new taps and repair leaks.
- **Electrical**:

- Replace bulbs and rewire sockets.
- **Decorating**:

- Paint walls and ceilings, touch up skirting boards and door frames, sand floors, and other wooden surfaces.
- **Gardening**:

- Mow lawns, trim hedges, bushes, and trees, weed, water flower beds, and repair border walls and fences.

**Qualifications**:

- Multiskilled in various household jobs (Handyperson or Maintenance Technician).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Must possess a valid UK driving license.
- Good communication skills and fluent in English.
- Must be organized, have a strong customer service ethos, and be able to manage their own schedule and calendar.

**Requirements**:

- Substantial amount of travel involved across the southeast area.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in English.

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
