**Technical Architect** required by our market leading, award winning, professional services organisation. The Technical Architect will work remotely with occasional days in our clients Central Bristol office based 1 7-8 minute walk from BristolTemple Meads Train Station.

The Technical Architect will a member of the IT Architecture Team designing and delivering technology-based services to drive the success of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring that technology changes are strategic and driven by defined businessneeds to achieve value-based outcomes, taking a problem-solving approach with stakeholders and encompassing all aspects of a successful service. A customer-focused approach to the role will be essential, as will the ability to build relationships and communicateappropriately with key stakeholders at all organisational levels.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Providing internal consultancy for potential and known technology-based changes.
- Collaborating with customers to understand their drivers for change, complex problem analysis and how technology-based services can deliver successful outcomes for stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborating across teams to deliver pragmatic solution options based on requirements, risks, internal and market research, vendor and product assessments, economic profiling, and proposing target recommendations.
- Ensuring solution compliance with IT’s Roadmap and standards, our clients strategy, policies and procedures, and the requirements of business due diligence and contractual agreements with clients.
- Designing target architecture states and governing migrations from baseline.
- Driving ongoing value and quality of service by ensuring solution knowledge is distributed and understood by service owners and support teams.

**Required Background**:

- Substantial experience in a Technical Architect role, collaborating with multiple internal roles, lines of business and third-party vendors to design and deliver solutions to at least 1,500 end-users in a multi-site business-to-business services organisation.
- Deep and extensive understanding of the full stack of technologies (both cloud and on premise) that underpin a transforming digital business.
- The ability to drive an organisation’s digital strategies and IT roadmaps.
- Substantial experience of sourcing and interpreting requirements, understanding SWOTs, producing pragmatic value-driven solutions, minimising costs, and maximising returns on investment.
- Substantial experience of integrating on premise technology stacks with hybrid cloud architectures, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies.
- Excellent communicator with ability to translate complex concepts between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Actively seeks to keep up to date with global and industry-specific technology-based services evolution.
- The ability to work to a consistently excellent professional standard whether as part of the IT team, a project team or as an internal consultant.
- TOGAF 9 Certified or BCS Enterprise and Solutions Architecture Practitioner Certificate.
- Experience of working in a highly regulated industry.

This fantastic role comes with a basic salary of £50,000-60,000 p/a and on top of the bespoke training package, comes with the following benefits: Remote working (Occasional days onsite in Bristol), annual salary review, 25 days holiday (which will increaseto 30 days based upon length of service), private medical insurance, pension and many more. This will include a bonus scheme which is being introduced in the Summer.
