KNL are recruiting for an Early Years Educator for a new nursery

We are looking for our educator to work 40 hours Monday-Friday (alternative hours can be discussed).

- Experienced in a practitioner position (ideally 1 year but not essential)
- Strong understanding of the current national guidance and practice documents
- Qualified either with HNC/SVQ3
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

A snapshot of the Early Years Educator role:

- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Planning exciting learning experiences for the children
- Capturing observations, documenting children’s learning and assessing progress and development
- Maintaining a high quality learning environment
- Abiding by infection control and health and safety guidance
- Attending staff meetings and completing training
- Welcoming new families and supporting settling in and transitions
