HR Advisor

The HR Advisor will work as part of the HR team, reporting to the Head of HR. This role will be based between High Wycombe and Greenford and will require travel on an ad hoc basis to the south coast site.
HR Advisor Responsibilities:
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource processes and procedural requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
- Support with the updating of employee records on HRIS system
- Support with recording of absence and reporting
- Support processes in relation to performance management and total reward
- Ensure all queries are completed and resolved and escalate where required
- Accurate administration of on-boarding, probation review, contract changes. special leave etc
- Ensure compliance to Workday HRIS processes
- Understand relevant HR policies and procedures to assist employees and line managers in the correct interpretation of policies.
- Responsible for the training plan of the business
- Maintain the training and development administration processes for procedures in a timely and effective manner
- Support the organisation with contractor recruitment and reporting
HR Advisor Skills:
- CIPD, level 5 or equivalent
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Skilled in policy development and process mapping
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Customer focused attitude with high level of professionalism and discretion, maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communicator with all levels of staff and management, both verbally and in writing
- Able to be an effective organiser, able to initiate, provide solutions, prioritise, and organise workload without regular supervision.
