Health Care Assistant

**Specific Duties Include**:

- Provides support and encouragement to Service Users in all areas / activities of daily living.
- Ensure the respect, dignity and rights to privacy of service users as far as possible.
- Contribute to the assessment of Service User’s needs and the development of individualised plans of care and support in consultation with Service Users, their relatives and the Care Team.
- Act as an associate worker for an identified Service User, or designated group.
- Work with the care and support team to deliver high standards of service to achieve planned goals.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum NVQ level 2 in Care or equivalent care qualification or willing to work towards.
- Experience in a care / support or service related setting preferred.

The above is an indication of the main areas of responsibility of the post holder. It is not an exhaustive list of duties, which may be required from time to time.

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
