**Head of Teaching Programme**

**Location**: ANGLO Limited offices in Bournemouth (possibility of occasional travel to ANGLO's summer centre locations in the UK)

The Head of Teaching is responsible for the organisation, set-up and smooth running of ANGLO Academic Programmes.

**Main Duties**
- Recruit, interview and contract teaching staff for all UK centres
- Train and induct UK teaching staff (does not include workshop staff)
- Check and confirm summer staff hours, salary payments and summer travel expenses claims and prepare all documents necessary for payments to be processed by Finance Team
- Review and revise teaching and workshop manuals and guidelines
- Review all teaching materials and propose changes whenever appropriate
- Develop teaching materials to provide students with content relevant to their UK experience, focussing on communication
- Check placement procedures for each season including online placement portal (with our agency partners)
- Work with Head of Activity Programme and Director to confirm Anglo+ workshops and ensure all materials are ready for summer
- Check and advise on facility bookings for classes and workshops in centres
- Monitor performance of staff and coordinate any in-service training
- Work with Director to ensure teaching and workshop programme meets standards set out by British Council, and assist with preparation of documents for inspections
- Supervise quality assurance and control via feedback
- Organise and supervise winter storage and preparation and packing of equipment and materials for distribution to centre

**Qualifications (Essential)**
- Communicative, people-orientated person required; this is primarily an office-based role but training, onboarding, guiding staff is part and parcel of the role
- Right to Work in the UK

**Qualifications (preferred)**
- Experience working in the field of summer camps/summer study holidays
- Experience recruiting staff
- Knowledge of British Council requirements

**Timeframe**

This role is for immediate incoroporation and is a temporary role (until 31st August) but could become permanent if both parties are interested.
