My Client is a provider of Food / FMCG products and they are now seeking a Warehouse Supervisor at their site based near Bridgwater. This is a newly created role and offers tremendous development opportunities for the future as the company is looking at succession planning for the future

Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:

- To ensure that all goods received, despatched are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- To safely load and unloading container/ lorries and complete the necessary system requirements.
- To ensure that raw material, packaging and finished material are stored in the correct location with the correct paperwork and labelling.
- To ensure that housekeeping standards are always maintained in the warehouse and storage areas thus ensuring that the warehouse is available for quality audits at any time.
- To manage the onsite fork-lift truck fleet and ensure that all Daily /weekly checks are completed, and all defects are reported to the Operations Manager or Team Leader.
- Monitor delivery vehicle drivers, etc., while they are on site.
- Developing relationships that are essential to supporting the company business with customers, intercompany and suppliers.
- Ensuring timely completion of accurate physical inventory counts.
- To monitor stock levels of packaging and pallets and ensure that stocks are replenished in a timely manner.

Warehouse Supervisor Skills and Qualifications:

- Experienced forklift driver with full licence for counterbalance and reach
- Experience of warehouse environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working within Export is desirable
- Knowledge of the hygiene and safety requirements in food production

Own transport is essential due to the location of the site
