Process Technician

Process Technician required to join well-established Manufacturing Company that specialise in manufacturing economically sustainable rigid plastic packaging through embedded, just-in-time supply chains. They recover used plastic packaging, transform it intonew feedstock, and manufacture new bottles from old, all in a sustainable closed-loop system.

**Process TechnicianPosition Overview**
- Operation, maintenance and improvement of the sites Plastic Processing machines
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on related equipment as required
- Performs production change overs and start up procedures
- Inspect the finished product - visual and/or by camera
- Complete quality checks
- Comply with company safety policy & procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping

**Process TechnicianPosition Requirements**
- Experience of Injection Moulding machines is essential
- Experience in Stretch Blow Moulding is desirable, however full training will be given
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- Mechanical / electrical experience would be advantageous - however, full training will be given
- Tool changes and planned maintenance would be advantageous
- Excellent team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Energetic and enthusiastic approach to their current role, whilst being an effective communicator at all levels.
- Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritization
- Good communication and reliability are essential for this position
- Must live within a commutable distance of Coleford

**Process TechnicianPosition Remuneration**
- Permanent position - Immediate start available
- Salary £32,000 (DOE)
- Shifts (7am-7pm) 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off
- Competitive holiday allowance
