**Position: Experienced Dog Groomer**

**Location: Edinburgh>Newhaven - In person**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform professional dog grooming to breed standards.
- Maintain a gentle, calm, and relaxed atmosphere in the salon.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Demonstrate good judgment in handling people, potentially dangerous dogs, and other safety-related situations.
- Educate clients about pet grooming, care, health, behavior, and training.
- Build positive relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle deposits and payments efficiently, both in-person and over the phone.
- Contribute positively to the team by maintaining equipment, premises, and participating in general housekeeping.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of grooming experience.
- Dog grooming qualifications are required.
- Interview process includes performing a paid groom.
