**As our QC Inspector you will support our quality activities across our warehouse and DC network. You will be the last QC check before customers receive their lovely Loafy product, inspecting our inbound products to make sure they are top notch. Product areas covered by this role include upholstery, cabinetry, homewares and lighting.**:
**Working closely with the Returns Team to inspect customer returns, helping to establish the reason for returns and identify the root cause of the issue through your expert knowledge of furniture. Working to get perfect returns back into stock and supporting the stock exit process.**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting AQL QC inspections of all 'inbound' products across our warehouse and distribution network
- Collating and preparing quality inspection reports for our suppliers
- Checking stock when quality issues/customer complaints are highlighted
- Flags and escalates any QC issues/trends/issues with products, including safety concerns and packaging non-compliances.
- Helping with the 'reworking' of products that have faults - recovering stock where possible and ensuring that it's fit for sale.
- Organises product reworks, liaising with suppliers as and when required.
- Maintaining the QC colour library for wood/finishes/fabrics.
- Provides evidence and supporting information to assist with the timely approval of all supplier credit claims.
- Provides support when the Quality team is investigating and resolving escalated customer complaints.
- Unpacking and repacking products for QC inspections and product development sign off meetings.
- Communicating effectively with all relevant teams in the business.

**Skills and Attributes**:

- Prior experience of retail QC processes will be essential
- Experienced working with upholstery, cabinetry and lighting preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- The ability to analyse report findings and deliver meaningful results from them
- A methodical approach
- The ability to communicate effectively to all areas of the business, both UK and international, and explain technical requirements to non-technical people
- A good degree of numeracy
- Able to multitask and work to deadlines
- Excellent use of initiative and problem solving with the ability to take ownership for your own workload
- A great team worker
- A good working knowledge of Excel & Word
- A full, clean, UK driving licence would be useful
