Wignalls are looking to recruit new trainees within their busy joinery workshop, to learn how to work with wood products. Trainees will be supported through an internal training plan with regular reviews, with the aim to attain a fully skilled level of competency.

The successful applicant can expect to be involved in the design, machining and installation of projects.

You will learn to:

- Handle the products
- Work efficiently
- Meet Health and Safety requirements
- Follow drawings and other specific details
- Use machinery

Personal qualities:

- Problem solver/logical/ have a good attention to detail
- Use own initiative
- Creative
- Must be able to get to work on time.
- Joiners need good maths skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be presentable and must have the right attitude to work.
- Have physical strength

Pay will meet statutory minimum wage, pay reviews with increases at each grade achieved.

This job will be based at Battle Road, Heathfield, Newton Abbot

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
