**Job summary**:
Dewberry House, Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Crisis Worker to be part of the on-call rota team. The post holder will be part of a dedicated and small team that supports victims of rape, sexual assault, and Child Sexual Abuse.

The Crisis worker will be responsible for providing on-call, out of hours assistance for the Forensic Examination Service at the SARC. This will include assisting the administration and management process of clients visiting the Centre. Applicants will be expected to take part in the on-call rota by mutual agreement with the SARC management team with a minimum commitment of 4-9 shifts per month. They will be paid an on-call fee of £30.00 per night or weekend day, with an hourly rate of Grade 7 per hour if they are called to the SARC. There will also be a minimum of 16 Hours per grade per month required to support daytime Forensic Medicals, Paediatric Health Assessments and Child Protection Medicals.

Successful applicants will live within 30 minutes of Dewberry House, have access to their own car and ideally will have experience in dealing with the needs of someone who has experienced high harm crime. We offer a challenging work environment with support and training, in order to ensure the provision of a high quality and trauma informed centre.

The post holder will be exposed to highly sensitive information and engagement should be within the context of a non-judgmental and confidential service.
