An established, friendly and profitable financial advisory practice based in the St Albans area is current seeking to recruit a Planner work closely along side one the companies most Senior Financial planners. This is a key role in the Financial Planningprocess and will require a confident and professional individual who is used to dealing with HNW clients.
- will have IFA industry experience, working with investments and pensions products for a
- minimum of five years
- have good knowledge on pension transfers
- have a working knowledge of Cash Flow software
- have the basic CII qualifications in key areas such as life and pensions, investment
- planning or financial administration,
- must be IT literate with a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- a team player and have excellent communication skills
- be able to liaise with providers, clients and colleagues in order to provide a high level of
- service

**You will be working as part of a team, supporting with day to day tasks, commensurate with agrowing firm -**
- Involved in client meetings
- assisting with writing suitability reports, ongoing suitability letters
- research into providers and products
- general administration, including processing new business
- assisting with cash flow software
- client meeting preparation and administration of their plans
- preparing and maintaining client files for compliance audit
- updating fact finds, annual reviews, ongoing suitability, AML requirements
- preparing valuations
- obtaining quotations
- liaising with providers
- experience in the use of document management systems is an advantage

**Some typical tasks -**
- General
- Deal with client queries
- Make client appointments
- Prepare spreadsheets for Curtis Banks SIPP providers
- Transfer cash to and from our custodian and Curtis Banks for investment and fees
- Prepare forms for all/any transactions with our custodian
- Obtain new business quotes as relevant
- Obtain pension and cash flow projections, and prepare spreadsheets
- Scan to Docuware and indexing
- Valuations updated on Iress Xplan
- New business - process as appropriate
- Policy documents - update Xplan New Business book and send documents to client
