Process Engineer required to join a well-established company based in the Wolverhampton area that specialise in designing and manufacturing customised safety equipment. Due to their ongoing success, they are now looking for an experienced Lean Process Engineerto focus on Process and lean improvements, reporting to the Operations Excellence Manager.

**Process EngineerPosition Overview**
- Work in a collaborative team to propose long term solutions to every-day issues
- Optimize production process to improve cost savings, efficiency and reduce waste
- Use Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to advance the company process' in line with company vision
- Manage continuous improvement projects, data analysis and procedural changes
- Resolution of issues relating to technical, safety, quality, and delivery
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Support team to create and maintain process work instructions and relevant documentation
- Become a knowledge owner of process' and products
- Lead on New Product introduction on the shop floor
- Support QHSE department to ensure H&S practices and quality control

**Process EngineerPosition Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
- Experience managing or leading projects
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative attitude and desire to learn new skills
- Good understanding of improvement systems, including but not limited to; lean, 5s and root cause analysis
- Experience in projects related to, or experience in manufacture of, hydraulic or pneumatic products &/or components is very advantageous.

**Process EngineerPosition Remuneration**
- Full time - permanent
- Monday - Friday
- Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
- Competitive Holiday allowance including BH
- Pension
