**Health and Safety Officer | Hertford**

Mode Lighting is a UK manufacturer of architectural, energy saving and commercial electronic lighting control solutions. We are seeking a Health and Safety Officer, with experience in a manufacturing environment, to join our management team based in Hertford.

Duties include:
- Ensure the Company’s compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
- Manage, maintain and develop the Company’s Health and Safety systems and policy documents.
- Create, review and maintain risk assessments for employees, buildings, facilities, processes, equipment, and sub-contractors, including fire risk assessments.
- Ensure the Company’s compliance with COSHH and REACH Regulations.
- Assess and organise employee training and refreshers relating to health and safety, including, first aiders, fire wardens, manual handling, lifting equipment etc.
- Control the purchase, stock and issue of PPE as required.
- Maintain training records for all production staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
