Front of House Staff

Job Title: Commis (Bartending)

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist in stocking and replenishing bar inventory as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a bartender or commis is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Must be at least 18 years old (or as required by local regulations)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour
