**About us**

Therapy Network a leading paediatric speech and language therapy service working collaboratively with schools across the UK. Caseloads are diverse with students presenting with a range of SLCN and most pupils have English as an additional language.

The team has a strong research focus, with independent speech therapists involved with various research studies and projects at leading universities.

**Specialist areas**:Community, Education, Paediatric, Mainstream schools

We are recruiting creative and dynamic SLTs at all levels (NQP-Band 7) to join our vibrant mainstream primary & secondary school service for academic year 2023/ 2024.
- Management of a small caseload across primary and/or secondary schools.
- Plan, execute and monitor communication therapy programmes for individuals and small groups of pupils with special educational needs at a specialist level, targeted and universal level.
- Contribute to learning activities and teaching programmes for pupils with special educational needs.
- Monitor, assess, record and report on the impact of speech and language therapy programmes.
- Liaise with class co-ordinators, teaching assistants, assistants, or volunteers.
- The speech and language therapist will be required to ensure pupils safety.
- Liaise with other professionals, parents and carers outside the school
- Write EHCP, Assessment & Summary/Update reports.
- Contribute towards inset days for other staff, where applicable.
- Follow therapeutic programmes linked to local and national learning strategies, such as literacy.

- 12 months fixed term contracts will be awarded on a full and part time basis with work from home available.
