**What will you be doing?**

Joining the production team as a Warehouse Operative your primary role will be managing the preparation, packing and dispatch of sales orders to all of NewBio's customers. The role will include a number of other responsibilities including goods in / goods out and organising courier services for delivery of customer orders. Other shared general duties will be as required.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Order preparation according to customer requirements - finished kits and bulk reagent preparation and packing in pallets and boxes ready for shipment to the customer.
- Shipping and dispatch - Preparing and booking consignments with the company’s preferred logistics providers and preparation of necessary documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists etc).
- Receiving and logging in of incoming goods (chemicals, biologicals, components, and consumables) according to the company’s procedures. Sampling and inspection for incoming quality control of stock items.
- Booking and shipping of any other consignments required by NewBio to suppliers (e.g. any returned items to suppliers or samples for customers).
- Undertaking any training the company may require.
- Work to GMP/GLP/GDP/maintain training record.
- Any tasks needed to help other members of staff may be assigned from time to time.

The work you’ll do is critical in maintaining the high standards and quality necessary for our customers, this industry and regulatory requirements.

You’ll build effective working relationships with your colleagues in the laboratory, who are relying on your high levels of attention to detail and communication.

**What do you need?**

It would be beneficial if you have some experience in In Vitro Diagnostics or Medical Devices, but not essential. You’ll also be a reliable and a professional individual and able to work within a busy manufacturing environment.

You should thrive in a time critical role, be self-motivated and able to work in an organised manner ensuring all work is undertaken as specified by our methods and procedures in accordance with ISO 13485.

**What we'll do for you**

**Job Type**: Part-time. Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

Pension with 8% company contribution

Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 (35 hours / week) Monday to Friday. We have currently introduced flexible working hours with a 08:30 - 16:30 option.
